About Me

  • My Resume   [Adobe PDF Format]

  • I graduated from the FSU Meteorology program under Dr. Fuelberg in 2008 with a Master of Science. My focus was in meteorology/hydrology/GIS. Prior to that, I graduated from FSU in the Spring 2005 semester with a B.S. in Meteorology and minors in Computer Science, Math, and Physics. I like to do a lot with the computing aspects of the field. I am particularly interested in using GIS in meteorology or related environmental sciences. I enjoy solving and understanding important problems related to meteorology through focus on the applied realm. I am fascinated by the effects of mesoscale features on everyday life, especially through rainfall (flooding/drought), lightning, and wind.

  • I enjoy incorporating the use of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in order to create better meteorological products; and to solve meteorological and hydrological problems.   The visual interpretation of the science is an area that is lacking, and will be discovered thoroughly now that meteorologists have improved computational abilities (with more powerful computers).
